Tamil New Year and Easter Long weekend in Pondicherry
A long weekend is here- one we can finally step out and enjoy ! The highlight of this weekend is the four- day Beach Festival by the Department of Tourism.
Note: This weekend has a large tourist turnout and all hotels and guest houses are fully booked. Watch out for traffic and parking restrictions. Parking on the road parallel to Beach Road is not permitted due to the beach festival.

Fashion, seafood and shopping by the sea : Puducherry Beach Festival
The festival highlights four different beaches of Pondicherry- Rock Beach/ Promenade Beach, the Pondy Marina, Paradise Beach and Sandunes Paradise Beach which lies adjoining the former.
Among the many events, there are two fashion shows, kite flying, a seafood spread, a flea market, music concerts and water sports!

Arabian Night: Music, moonlight and mandi
Sit down to an Arabian style mandi dinner prepared by chefs at En-gulf Mandi.
You will be dining on a full moon night under open skies in a lush lawn decorated with fairy lights and family entertainment. Organised by Pondy Rahman and P Square Media.

Free music concert by Casteless Collective
Ensemble band Casteless Collective has made a name for themselves for their diverse crop of musicians ( rappers to folk singers), the clear political stance in their lyrics, as well as their artistry in using music to question different forms of oppression and inequality.
The Pondicherry concert marks the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar and is a tribute to late singer and poet Dalit Subbaiah.
