Puducherry Schools Closed from January 10 till further instructions
All government and private schools in Puducherry are closed for Standards 1 to 9 from January 10. Schools can continue classes in online mode for Standard 1 to 9 but no physical classes will be held until further orders, according to Puducherry Education Minister A. Namassivayam.
Schools will continue to remain open for Classes 10 to 12 . Heads of schools are expected to strictly adhere to protocol (SOP) issued by the government for educational institutions.
Students between 15- 17 are being vaccinated directly at schools. Vaccines for this age group are available free of cost at neighbourhood PHCs.
